Guanyin Ancient Cave is located in the Xitian Scenic Area of Putuo Mountain Scenic Area, and is also a major attraction in Putuo Mountain Scenic Area. It is said that the child is very spiritual. Every day, the incense tourists who go to worship Buddha are crowded. The traffic to go is not very convenient, you have to walk a long way.

Guanyin Ancient Cave is located on the stone side of the mountain after the Putuo Mountain Meiling in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It was originally a natural cave. There are no temples, only a few plum trees, so it is also known as "Gumeiling". The main existing Buddhist buildings are the main temple; the important cultural relics are the Guanyin sitting statue and the "25-round pass" group statue. The main hall of Guanyin Ancient Cave is rectangular, and there are 25 round-shaped statues inside.

This is a natural ancient cave with many Guanyin images inside. When entering the cave, you can close your hands and walk clockwise. Don't touch the wall! ! ! Above the cave, there are large stones stacked, and the stone carving "Dashi Reappears"

在西天景区下梅岭的时候路过观音古洞，和“二龟听法石”不远，乍一看以为是个普通的古洞，走入洞中接接观音的圣水，去殿里拜拜就成了，如果不仔细观察的话，很难发现洞后的山崖石壁上还有“大士重现”四字。观音古洞旁可以望见中国海军的基地，那是个操场，如果不在基地大门口看的话，还误以为是个学校呢。
