Hanlinyuan Relic Site Review

翰林院遗址在东长安街路南-内，为明初鸿胪寺旧址，明代正统七年(1442)建翰林院，清初将翰林院并入内三院，康熙年间定为正三品衙门，清翰林院有登瀛门内堂5楹，堂西为读讲厅，东为编检厅。左廊围门内为状元厅(乾隆三十八年后改为功臣馆)；右廊围之内有昌黎祠，土谷祠，堂之后为穿堂，左为待诏厅，右为典簿厅，再后为后堂，后堂内有皇帝临幸时宝座，后堂东西屋为藏书库，翰林院自雍正以后，成为重要的国家储才机关。
