Makou Karst Cave Group Makou is a small village in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River in Wumeng Mountain District, northeast of Shanghai. The administrative area is under the jurisdiction of Yongshan County, Yunnan Province. The southeast is bordered by Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City, and the west is across the river from the Jinsha River and Liangshan County in Sichuan Province.
