Above the East River in New York, three bridges connect Manhattan and Brooklyn. The middle Manhattan Bridge stands alongside the Brooklyn Bridge. Because of its similar appearance and 20 years late in construction, the Manhattan Bridge is often confused by tourists or selectively forgotten, but still beautiful.
