Started coming here in the eighties whilst still @ Uni. Cheap and cheerful....friendly, polite staff AND really delicious dishes, including the deservedly famous takeaway steamed buns. Have tried lots of things on their menu and was never disappointed with anything. My personal favorites are the spicy salt and pepper squid, and the combination fried noodles. (See pic) If anything, this dish is even more chock full of ingredients than it used to be. Great value and really tasty. Also try their flat, dry, rice noodle dishes - e.g. Char Kuay Tiew, for that amazing, unmistakable, 'breath of the wok' flavour. Superb!
