Nampaya Temple (Nan Hpaya Temple) is located in the village of Myankaba in Bagan (Myinkaba Village), built by Mon king Manuha who leads directly to the kingdom, is a Hindu temple adjacent to Manuha Temple (Manuha Temple), which literally means "Royal Temple". The Nampaya temple, built with mud mortar, stone and brick, was once the residence of Manuha, and contains exquisite carvings of Brahma and other Hindu gods. Hamsa (like the swan bird) is a unique image and symbol of the Mon nationality, which is equivalent to the Chinese "dragon". It is said that after the temple was built, no one repaired it, because it is an Indian temple, and the Burmese are overwhelmingly Buddhist. The sculptures in the temple are exquisite and have been well maintained for many years. In addition, there are other brick Buddhist temples, which are also rare stone buildings in Bagan.

This small temple, located near Manuha Temple, its pierced stone windows, is a typical early building of Bagan Temple. The highlight is the four stone pillars of the middle temple, which are carved with the Hindu god of creation Brahma! :)

#万千佛塔赤足行•2019缅甸游#No.34——蒲甘·南佛塔（南帕耶寺）篇南帕耶寺，或者也被称为南佛塔，就在马努哈佛塔的南边，穿过一条脏兮兮的小路就可以到达。说实话，当在小路上行进的时候，我一度以为这是司机为了节约时间而带我们走的近路，而正路应该是不会这么乱七糟八糟。没想到这就是唯一的通道！缅甸人民也是够憨厚，完全没有因为这里已经是旅游景点，而非要去搞什么“风/貌/改/造”。据说这里曾经是监狱，传说中的南佛塔本是印度教佛塔，可能当局者认为将其改造成监狱比当作佛教寺庙更为合适一些。不过，南帕耶寺是让我感到非常震撼的一座佛塔。虽然没有华丽的外表，但其内部让人叹为观止。一走进佛塔就会被顶部倾泻而下的光线所震撼，千百年前的人们就已经学会了利用自然光线来为阴暗的室内带来足量的采光。这样的设计，让我想到了罗马的万神殿。虽然蒲甘的佛寺还没有达到那样的高度，但也已经有了相当科学的设计。另外一个例证就是这里有孔石窗，通风且透光。据说，这可能就是蒲甘最早的洞穴风格神殿。在南帕耶寺有限的空间里，房间中央的四根石柱上雕刻着精美的创造之神——梵天的浮雕像。梵天造型饱满，手持莲花，面带微笑，栩栩如生。这里的雕刻类似于在柬埔寨小吴哥看到的风格，不知道是不是类似时代的产物？我想，即便这里曾经是监狱，身处其中的prisoners在如此精美的艺术作品的环绕下，想来日子里也没有那么枯燥乏味吧。

地点在老蒲甘博物馆那条主路出来，出了城门经过妙泽蒡和明卡巴古表基寺后，经过马努哈，就到了南琶雅了。也是做大寺，在酒店的简版地图上都有这个寺，南琶雅再往南些，左手边就是NAGAYON，再往南就是新蒲甘了。
