Nengren Temple Review

Nengren Temple is located at No. 92 Zhonghua Road, Yuzhong District. It is a large-scale Nizhong Temple in Chongqing. It was originally named "Three Churches". It was Haiyun Temple in ancient times. According to the "Baxian Zhi", "Qing Kangxi 46 (1707) changed eight squares to 29 squares, and the three churches are under the jurisdiction of Yangliufang." Now the temple three gates on the cross payment has the words "Jiaqing has been 24 years of midsummer Huiling".

Nengren Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty and was called Haiyun Temple. The 12th year of Qing Guangxu (1886) in the "Chongqing Fuzhi Full Map", located in the current Zhonghua Road (called Yangliu Street) Nengren Temple, marked as the three churches. In the 1920s, the name was changed to Nengren Temple. The "Cultural Revolution Period" monastery was changed to a printing factory, and later restored to a Buddhist monastery.

【景色】特意在网上查了才找到。因为坐落在解放碑众多高楼大厦之中。商业林立，一不注意就错过了。只有留心才会发现门口的一个石柱上刻有能仁寺，然后向里面走就到了。门楼非常特别与众不同，若是有时间可以细细的观赏。能仁寺里面很小，香火还是蛮旺盛的，大约是重庆市内最小也是唯一的尼众寺院了。
