Beijing Olympic Water Park is a venue for rowing, kayaking, marathon swimming and Paralympic rowing events in the Beijing Olympic Games. The total area is about 162.59 hectares, the water area is 63.5 hectares, and the green area is 54 hectares. It was officially opened to the public in 2009, was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction in 2010, and was named the "National Beijing Shunyi Sports Training Base" by the State Administration of Sports in 2019. Shunyi Olympic Water Park has Shunyi District Water Sports Association and Shunyi Ice and Snow Sports Association, which mainly carry out the promotion and popularization of water and ice sports, and organizes and hosts competitive competitions, professional training, consulting services and so on. Since the park opened, dozens of large-scale international and domestic water events such as rowing, kayaking, water skiing, dragon boats have been held, and dozens of themed activities such as Yanjing Beer Festival, UCC National Amateur Bicycle League, Dragon Boat Festival Dragon Boat Culture Festival, Winter Ice and Snow Festival have been held. Hundreds of corporate special events such as mass family days, Mercedes-Benz dragon boat races, Columbia Extreme Run were held.
