Went to Rimba Jaya on 29 Dec 2022 and stalls are not ready yet 😜. Lucky Tomo Jap restaurant is open for lunch 😂😂. A nice and affordable Jap restaurant with cosy ambience. We enjoyed the breeze too while having our lunch at the Al fresco area 😊

This is the main city of Bintan Island, basically all locals. The population density is very high and the consumption is very low. Of course, the price of foreigners is inevitable, but it is not the price of chopped onions that is outrageous. Going to the city is mainly to buy some fruit, and also go to the post office to send postcards. I wanted to book a ferry ticket to other small islands in Indonesia. I was told that there were a lot of boats. I bought it and left without booking in advance.

When we arrived at Mindan Island, we found a local travel agency and reported a half-day tour in the south, with a car arranged for us in the amount of S$70. Now that we have arrived at Mindan Island, we suggest that we go to the southern Danrong betel nut to get a better understanding of the real life of the local Indonesian people. When I came to Mindan Island, I was always worried about safety, but in fact, I don't need to worry too much about safety. If I find a travel agency with a Chinese guide or driver, I'll be sure. The island is inhabited by Indonesians and Chinese. The island is basically deserted, with occasional homes along the way, but when it arrives at Danrong Betelnut, it becomes crowded and lively. Because of the time, I arrived at Danrong betel nut nearly in the evening. The driver took me to a restaurant, ate a piece of Pepper Crab (two crabs in a dish) and a hollow cabbage (commonly planted in the local area), a fried rice, a seafood fried noodles (with shrimps, snails, very delicious), a drink, at the time of checkout, 43 new coins, I think the price is still cheap. Yeah. I gave 50 new coins and found my 66,000 Indonesian shield. Look, it's not economical to change it in advance. (For consumption here, it's better to change the Indonesian shield in advance, but the local government doesn't accept new coins now.) Because it's too late, there's no place to sell souvenirs. It's a pity that you don't really appreciate the local customs on the streets of Indonesia. Later, the driver drove me directly to a local supermarket and bought some Indonesian instant noodles and snacks! Local Cat Shit coffee, very delicious! It is suggested to buy more to give away. (Need to change the Indonesian shield in advance, no new coins accepted locally) (but this supermarket can brush VISA cards) (the next picture is the supermarket) along the road, take a bus to see the changing scenery, the first time to see the Indonesian civilian house, see the Indonesian police station, fire station, primary and secondary schools and universities (all three are a school district), listen to the driver all the way. Shao, but I can't imagine how to teach in a campus for pupils, middle school students and college students,:) It should be very good, too. Looking at Indonesia on its way to work, picking up children from school, and super-rich mansions (feel like five-star villas)... Everything is imprinted in my memory. Now our speedboat is heading for Penang Island. It's a clean, uninhabited island. In fact, it's not open here, so there are no hotels, so there are no tourists. I really want to live here.~~~
