The Pan American Pyramid in San Francisco’s financial district is a 48-storey futuristic skyscraper and the second tallest building in the San Francisco skyline. It has been the tallest building in San Francisco from 1972 to 2018. The building is no longer the headquarters of Pan Am, however, the building is still associated with the company and is depicted on the company's logo.

I was lucky to be able to enter the building regularly, so I am naturally a big fan of it. This classic San Francisco landmark was built in 1972 and is still the tallest building in San Francisco. The views are amazing, but it’s a shame if you’re not an employee or you don’t have a legitimate reason to visit someone who works there and you can’t get up high to enjoy the views!

It was like the shape of the Egyptian pyramids, once the highest in San Francisco.

At first, the structure looks weird and out of place, but it slowly grows on you. The pointy pyramid slowly blends in to the streetscape.
