I had an incredible experience visiting the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace thanks to our amazing tour guides Nikki and Evelyn.
From the moment we started, everything was well organized and perfectly timed. The Forbidden City can feel overwhelming because of its size and history, but our guide Nikki explained the stories behind each courtyard, emperor, and architectural detail in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. It truly brought the history to life instead of just being a walk through old buildings.
At the Summer Palace, my guide was Evelyn and she shared fascinating stories about Empress, Lake and Longevity Hill. Despite the cold weather, the tour remained enjoyable because of the guide’s energy, knowledge, and patience.
