The lights were absolutely stunning, it was so beautiful to see. The downside was that it was very busy and you were constantly ushered forward with whistles. I understand that they need to keep the crowd moving but the constant noise of whistles made it difficult to fully enjoy. Having said that, the lanterns were truly beautiful, the surroundings were breathtaking and I am very pleased I went.★

Overall, well planned and good experience. Tour guide was very helpful and informative. Van was new, large, and clean. We did a private tour and communication was good via WeChat. We were picked up at 8:30am and returned back to the hotel at 7:45pm. It was a long day visiting both Suzhou and Zhouzhuang, but I don’t think it would be worth visiting on two separate days. The reason for only 4 stars was that we were charged an additional 3 hours at 150 RMB/hr. After the booking was confirmed, the tour operator said the tour is only for 8 hours of time even though the description on Trip.com said the tour would be 9am-8pm. Seemed like a bit of a bait and switch. They should just put that on the description if there are additional hourly charges.★

We loved our day trip! Laura was an amazing guide, and explained so well about all the things we saw, she also happily explained to us about China and Chinese culture. The itinerary was really well planned, and never felt rushed. We saw a lot of things! The water town was so beautiful, and it was super interesting to see the bunker and hear about the cultural revolution. The food was really good also! We also got a beautiful fan with a picture of the town. The car trip was also smooth and she answered all our questions happily:) We really recommend this tour!★

The main show is really beautiful and interesting, The fear room was very impressive, as well as the performance with glass balls. But I didn't really like the rest of the show.
