In the morning, we'll gather at the meeting point to kick off our day's journey. Our first stop is Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, where rivers and ports crisscross. Nine long streets stretch along the water, with thousands of Ming and Qing-era buildings lining the banks and 36 stone bridges spanning both sides, showcasing the gentle charm of Jiangnan water towns. Standing on Fangsheng Bridge, you can overlook the flowing river; strolling along North Street, you'll feel the bustling vibe of the ancient town.
In the afternoon, we'll head to Shanghai Film Park. Upon entering, it's like stepping back into old Shanghai. With European-style streets and trams, it recreates the unique charm of early 20th-century Shanghai. Wandering through Shikumen alleys, you'll experience the daily life of old Shanghai; visiting the Paramount Ballroom, you'll sense its former glamour. Plus, it's a filming location for many movies and TV shows, so you might stumble upon familiar scenes.
After the tour, we'll return to the morning meeting point to disband, concluding this delightful journey.
