Trip Overview

After gathering, we will depart for the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland. Often referred to as "Iceland in Miniature," Snæfellsnes showcases the country's diverse landscapes, allowing you to experience the beauty of Iceland in just one day.

First, we arrive at Kirkjufell (also known as the "Mountain of the Church" or "Hat Mountain"). As one of the most photographer-beloved landmarks on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, the origin of its name "Kirkjufell" is evident from its distinctive shape.

Next, head to Lóndrangar, where towering basalt columns stand majestically along the coast, showcasing the awe-inspiring volcanic rock formations of Iceland.

After the tour, visit the fairy-tale-like coastal town of Arnarstapi, where you can enjoy lunch while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Finally, visit the famous black wooden church in Snæfellsnes - [Búðakirkja]. The black church complements the surrounding snowy mountains and waterfalls, creating a sense of secluded tranquility. After the tour, return to Reykjavik to conclude the journey.
