Mina was fluent and detailed in her explanations of the summer palace. I was lucky as the only tour participant, She suggested meeting earlier in order to avoid the weekend crowds which proved to be a good idea. She also gave good historical context on how the palace and grounds were constructed and used and offered additional tips for exploring the grounds after our tour ended.★

Julie our guide was excellent. She told us all about the summer palace and answered any other questions we had about china. She went out of her way to get us somewhere to leave our luggage and got us a taxi for our train when we were running late and hadn’t WeChat.
