I had an amazing walking tour through Langa Township with Luvuyo. Even as a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and confident with him from start to finish. He created such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Luvuyo shared fascinating insights about the history and daily life of Langa, explaining not only its past but also how the township functions today. Without doubt, this was the highlight of our recent visit to Cape Town and I would recommend this to anyone who wants an authentic and genuine insight into the beating heart of a township like Langa. Nathi was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and inspirational. He appeared to know everyone and we regularly stopped to chat to locals who told us about their jobs and living in Langa. My particular highlight was when, in discussion with Nathi, I told him that I was a Headteacher at a High School in the UK, and without me knowing, Nathi contacted the Headteacher of one of the High Schools in Langa and a few minutes later, we were in the Headteacher's office having a discussion about education in South Africa! There was so much that we had in common! Truly amazing, bespoke and authentic. I would recommend this tour to anyone, and I will definitely be doing it again with my adult children when we return to Cape Town at the end of March.★
