The hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay overall. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout the visit. Alfred was a very informative, personable tour guide who gave us a very in-depth tour through the many ages of York ( including the rear end of the library 😄) Would thoroughly recommend him , although you would definitely need some good shoes / boots for walking over various terrains★

We went on the cruise Monday at 11:40am great service and friendly staff the skipper gave a running commentary of things to look at amd the history around York very enjoyable and relaxing
