The easiest way to get to Macau is by ferry. We quickly found the right pier and followed the signs. We were in Macau in just an hour. The ferry itself was very comfortable, and we chose our seats on the spot.

Most people who travel to Hong Kong will visit Macau for one or two nights. It is very convenient to use the ferry to get to Macau, and the immigration process is not complicated. There are free shuttle buses from each hotel upon arrival, so it is convenient to use the free shuttle bus when you arrive in Macau. I only went on a one-day trip to the Cotai area of Macau and just took a hotel tour, and everything was within walking distance. I wasn't really interested in historical sites or cathedrals, so I just went to the Parisian Eiffel Tower and other Instagram-worthy photo spots, but I think I was satisfied and saw everything there was to see.


