We bought the card right at the Santa Lucia train station. We activated it at the machine and immediately took the vaporetto to the hotel. We also took a ride to Burano. Everything works great.★

It was best to buy a ticket online in advance, then scan the QR code at the kiosk at the stop to receive a paper ticket. I highly recommend purchasing one. And riding the Veperetto is a unique experience, just like taking a tour of the Grand Canal.★

Beautiful tour. Our guide, Chiara, was extremely knowledgeable and very good and interesting (one of the best guides I've ever had). The tour was very exciting, engaging, and useful because seeing those beautiful places with someone who explains what you see and tells you the history of the places and of Venice is something else entirely. It's absolutely worth it, and the price is fair for the excellent service provided and the time and care put into the tour.
