The atmosphere was great, the air was fresh, and the view was stunning. We could see Mount Fuji clearly up close, it was well worth the wait. This was my first time arriving in Japan alone by plane, and it was even at the airport in the middle of the night. I then took a bus to my destination by myself. The Tachikatsu Bus was really convenient, the service was excellent, and they even had Wi-Fi available – it was fantastic!

Let me start by saying that we had a comfortable and enjoyable trip there and back. But I think I'll add some important information below, as the description of this event was a bit confusing to me. As I understand it, this is a separate carrier that also departs from bus stations (yes, stations have bus departure zones with separate exits and schedules). When booking, as stated, even if you selected a time and date, they might not be available. Our date was already inconvenient. But they offered to change it to another day, which we did. They responded quickly, but perhaps because of the translator, it was sometimes difficult to understand what was meant. I wouldn't say they were as friendly as we're used to. But I think we figured it out. Tickets are emailed separately with the changed date and time after you've confirmed it with support.
