I took a 20 GB option for 3 days, in just one day I used 490 MB 😂 I could have used even less. Anyway, it was perfect, it worked practically everywhere except in some shopping centers but there was free wifi that covered it anyway.

Everything is fine, the SIM card works all over Japan and the internet is super fast. The only thing is that at first I couldn't activate it properly on my iPhone, but I figured it out by trial and error.

I didn't face any issues during the setup, activation, and using the eSIM. Out of my 7 days trip, there's only a few hours during a certain day where the signal suddenly was unstable, other days all good. I transited in Philippines before arriving in Japan, both side signal is good since the plane arrives. While back, i transited in HK, and only i notice the eSIM covers Mainland China but not HK (they didn't write HK in the description, it's only my assumption, so i don't blame the provider). I used Google Gemini heavily during my travel, including NotebookLM, no issues accessing them too. Overall, it is reliable.

It was a very interesting trip to Japan, but I probably won't be going back anytime soon. My company's project there for this year has been successfully completed. Thanks to Ctrip for recommending the SIM card, the speed is so fast!
