Actually no one check if we have a HFC or not! We bought from machine and just elect HFC prices and just go in! But it is only useful if you take a lot of public transports, we drove, barely save much only for rides up the mountains, and we missed a few because of weather conditions.

I purchased a Eurail pass because it is cheaper than buying individual tickets, especially when I have to take long-distance train journeys multiple times. Furthermore, with delays on European trains—particularly long-distance ones—being severe these days, even if you have reserved a seat, you may find yourself having to take different trains along the way. In such situations, the unrestricted Eurail pass has been a great help.
