Things to do in Jiangyin

We're all in our 70s, and we bought a package ticket at Pegasus Water Park. We saw stallions, rode in a horse-drawn carriage, took a boat trip to see the night view, had lunch and dinner (which were quite delicious), and stayed at a hotel with excellent service! Overall, we had a great time. Thumbs up!

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, climb Fragrant Hills Meiling to explore the plum blossoms. The entire Fragrant Hills scenic area is divided into two parts: Meiling and the lake. The scenic area is beautiful, with gentle mountain slopes and well-constructed trails. Whether it is a stone slab road or a wooden boardwalk, it is very suitable for leisurely hiking and is also very friendly to the elderly and children.

Dinosaur Park is more suitable for older children, as many attractions require a height of 1.2 meters or more. Bring your kids to enjoy quality family time. Even without a baby, who isn't a little over a few hundred months old at some point? The prices inside aren't too expensive, and annual passes are also affordable. Highly recommended.

Jiaoxi Ancient Town is like a melodious pastoral poem, telling the warmth of time. The ancient bridge lies across, the stream gurgles, and the white walls and black tiles are scattered in an orderly manner. Walking on the bluestone road and touching the mottled old walls, it seems that you can hear the echo of history. This place is quiet and simple, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but full of fireworks. Whether it is under the warm spring sun or in the drizzle, Jiaoxi Ancient Town exudes a unique charm that makes people intoxicated and nostalgic.

This is the most worthwhile place to visit during the Spring Festival. Because during the holiday, you can drive directly to the visitor center in places where parking is impossible, and then go straight in to enter the scenic area. In the evening, many snack shops and restaurants are open, so you can eat and drink anything you can't find during the Spring Festival. There's also a musical fountain show and a sky lantern releasing activity for blessings in the evening. These sky lanterns cost 50 yuan each, and you can watch others release them – the effect is fantastic! There are also lantern and dragon lantern parades in the evening.

On the way to the Bund in Jiangyin, get off the subway S1 at Mazhen, and then take the bus for another 3 stops. It takes 10 minutes to walk after getting off the bus. The local publicity of the scenic spot is not strong enough. There are activities during the New Year, and the tickets are half price at 6 yuan. The scenery is pleasant and very quiet.

Yuantouzhu is absolutely stunning! The scenery is picturesque, the air is fresh, and a stroll through it is incredibly pleasant. The boat tour was a great experience, offering breathtaking views of Taihu Lake and providing plenty of entertainment. Five stars! Highly recommended!

Unlike the exquisite and elaborate gardens in some Suzhou gardens, Jichang Garden takes a "simple and open" approach. Without the noise of excessive commercialization, it offers a perfect balance between the elegant gardens on one side and the bustling atmosphere of Huishan Ancient Town on the other. It is a cultural landmark of Jiangnan that is suitable for all ages and families.

At first, I thought it was just one tower and it would cost fifty yuan, but once inside, I found there were many exhibits, quite exquisite and beautiful. Climbing to the top and enjoying the panoramic view of Changzhou was quite nice; you should definitely allow plenty of time!
