Dafeimen is a large reservoir within Nankunshan National Forest Park. Visiting the icefall in winter is a great experience. The scenic trails are equipped with snow chains, making it easy to walk on. The icefalls hang from the cliffs, their layers of icicles crystal clear and sparkling in the sunlight—a truly beautiful sight. At the foot of the mountain, there are vendors selling roasted sweet potatoes for ten yuan each, roasted until they're oozing with sugar. Eating one warms you up from head to toe. A stroll around takes a little over an hour, and you're not tired at all, plus you get to see amazing scenery—much more interesting than staying at home.
