This trip to Fuzhou to explore the "Fudao" trail was truly a rejuvenating experience! The design of this forest trail, built along a mountain ridge, is absolutely brilliant. Walking on the openwork steel frame feels like strolling through a green sea of urban forest. Breathing in the abundant negative ions, and enjoying breathtaking views of Zuohai Park and the Minjiang River along the way, it's incredibly therapeutic, whether for a morning run or an evening stroll. It's definitely a must-visit landmark in Fuzhou!
After exploring Fudao, my biggest surprise was finding the only "Seafood Xiaobailou" restaurant in Pingtan! I thought it would be hard to find such authentic Pingtan flavors, but this place served freshly caught and cooked seafood—sweet, bouncy, and incredibly generous portions. The prices were clearly marked, so there was no overcharging. Every bite tasted like the sea, and I was completely satisfied. It's definitely a must-visit culinary gem when visiting Fudao! There's only one seafood restaurant on Pingtan Island, so please be careful to avoid being scammed.
After a satisfying meal, I checked into the nearby "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster," and the experience was fantastic! The environment was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were stylishly designed. In the evenings, I could chat and drink tea with friends from all over the country – the atmosphere was wonderful. As a transit point for exploring the city, it's also very convenient. With its oxygen-rich hiking trails, Pingtan seafood, and comfortable accommodations all in one place, this trip to Fuzhou was truly worthwhile, and I highly recommend it!
