Highlights: Fengguo Temple is one of China's three remaining major Liao dynasty temples and monasteries. It's symbolic ancient building is one of the larger Buddhist halls to survive from ancient times. Inside is a group of ancient and relatively large painted clay Buddha statues. The main seven Buddhas, seated upright on pedestals, were sculpted in the Liao dynasty, and include Kasyapa, Krakucchaṃda, Sikhin, and Vipasyin.
