Photos of Qianshan (Qian Mountains) National Park

The Qian Mountains face the Bohai Sea on the south and connect to the Changbai Mountains in the north. They are a famous Taoist site. The mountains are named for the thousands of rocky peaks that look like lotus flowers. The many strange rock shapes are a unique sight of nature and create a beautiful setting. The naturally occurring Qianshan Maitreya Buddha is a sight you can’t miss: the string of naturally formed prayer beads around the Buddha’s chest are remarkable.
