Xuanwu Gate

Xuanwumen Beijing Xicheng District is a very prosperous place. The earliest Beijing Metro Line 2 has a station in Xuanwumen. It has a famous Xuanwumen Catholic Church in the northeast corner. The northwest corner is the head office of China Xinhua News Agency. The southeast corner has Zhuangsheng Sogo Department Store. The southwest corner has the Global Financial News Building.

Xuanwumen is located in the south of Xicheng District, Beijing. It is a very lively and very prosperous place. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was once one of the nine gates in Kyoto. It was built opposite to Chongwenmen. In ancient times, it was built from the tall and brilliant city gate building. Now there is only one place name left.

Xuanwumen is the west gate of the south of Beijing's inner city, built in the Ming Dynasty. At first, it was called Shunchengmen, and the orthodox four years were changed to Xuanwu. In the name of Chongwenmen and Xuanwumen, it followed the ancient "left and right Wu" ritual system. Two doors, one text and one Wu correspond, taking the meaning of "Wenzhi Wu'an, Jiangshan Yonggu". Xuanwumen is taken from the name of Shunchengmen in the Yuan Dynasty, Mingyongle was built when Nantuo Beijing's south city wall in 17 years, formerly known as Yuan "Shunchengmen", and later renamed Xuanwumen.
