Very quick but well done memorial. Worth a walk through if you stop by the visitor center. Nice tribute and even a helicopter

Worth your time

This memorial is in the parking lot of the Colorado Welcome Center in Fruita. It's a well-done tribute to those who fought in Viet Nam and a memorial to those who gave their lives.

Walk around while at rest area

Got to walk around and check things out while at the rest area. It seemed to be in good taste. A nice break from the traffic scene while traveling.

Humbling

Very nice Memorial

An authentic helicopter looms above the engraved names of those from this region who lost their lives, contrasted by a statue of a soldier who made it home. Very moving.
