Breathtaking
WIthout a doubt, Magose-toge is one of the more breathtaking stretches of the gorgeous Iseji Kumano Kodo. With its carved stone stairs and bridges, it's beautiful from both a historical and natural...
Initially had some trouble reading a downloaded map showing the directions from Aiga Station to Magose Toge entrance and so had to rely on Google Maps. Had something to eat and toilet break at Michi-n...
tip: start at the entrance above the aiga michinoeki and walk to owase. You/'' have a shorter, steeper uphill but will be able to stroll downhilll for longer and around the more beautiful parts
It was a short course with a cobblestone taste and a few people and easy to walk.
