It's a short drive from the city. There were some places where the road was muddy, probably because there weren't many people coming, and probably because it rained the day before. The view was good when I went up to the observatory. The tree felt a little like a block.

It is an observatory on the north side of Kosode Coast. It is located along Iwate Prefectural Road 268, but it seems that it will be overlooked because there is no particularly noticeable display. You can enjoy a powerful view from the observatory along the coast.

The south side looks pretty.

If you follow the prefectural road along the sea from Kuji City, there is a signboard of "Akahama Observatory" on the side of the road on the hill, and you can park 5 or 6 cars. The coastline on the south side looks beautiful from the concrete observatory, but it is a pity that the direction of Kuji Bay on the north side is almost impossible to see because the trees 々 are thick.
