Was told the slides of the watchtower could be closed due to rain. If visited on a sunny day, this would be a very different landscape that should be breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the East London area including the London Stadium.
The watch tower is actually a slide, you need to book in advance, if the weather is bad or security check, it will be closed, the taxi is very exciting and most of it is in the dark, so there are many unexpected twists, you can rent a small sports camera in the visitor center to take pictures
Myself and my friends we had a great time and would definitely recommend this experience to others. When we arrived the slides were closed for the day so we went to the viewing level, which is located at the top of the Orbit. The views of London from the viewing level are amazing. The viewing platforms from outside are very good. Overall, we had a really enjoyable time. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the views are simply amazing.
