Good effort that falls short. Gravel driveway and parking are not well maintained. Expect better for tax dollars spent. I wish Metro parks would stop expanding and focus on better quality experienc...
Small and simple
Wife and I took the grandchildren to Wiregrass lake for a few hours to teach them how to fish and to enjoy the scenery. It's not an easy place to find but worth the visit if you like peace and quiet. ...
Nice but small park with a lake .
Good place to take a walk on put in a kyak . There are some camp sites and a pavillion . Nice dock , no running water.
Evening Kayak trip
We took our kayaks there and we weren’t disappointed. They have the best kayak launch. Only downfall is the walk from the parking lot to the launch.

I love wiregrass lake. It is perfect to get away here for a weekend, afternoon, or evening. Come and you'll enjoy !
