Forest pond, ice-covered in winter

It is close to the National Holiday Village. Surrounded by virgin forests, it is a very quiet environment. The promenade is well maintained and takes about 15 minutes per lap. You can enjoy a forest bath while looking at Mt. Norikura.
Almost flat from the holiday village, perfect for a little walk course

Ushidome Pond itself is about 500m round and is not large, so there is not much physical burden. There is a covered rest area at the shooting spot. There was still snow in the pond during Golden Week, and it wasn't like the mountain 々 reflected in the pond. If you are not satisfied, I think you are trekking to Zengoro Falls for about 30 minutes.
It was my first time on a sunny day in winter, but the blue sky was the best view of Ushidome Pond and Mt. Norikura, which were quiet and completely frozen even in the warm winter. I had to walk, so I went into the frozen Ushidome Pond, but I was surprised at first that I could walk across it, but I enjoyed it. I like Mt. Norikura the most because I can't see any buildings around.
It is about a 5-minute walk from Kyukamura. If the weather is nice, Mt. Norikura will be projected upside down on the surface of the current lake. It is a place full of nature.

Winter is winter and it feels quiet

It's just a short walk from the holiday village.
