Read up on the place and enjoy
Easy metro ride for us. I enjoyed the extensive history of the place. And to witness the Tlaloc stone at the rear of the church- who's praying to who?- was neat.
This is the same ruin described in reviews of Plaza de las tres culturas. See my review there. Very interesting site, worth visiting if you like ruins.
Interesting archeological site, part of the Plaza de Tres Cultures. Made a brief stop here during our tour before heading to Teotihuacan. Not a must see when visiting CDMX
Opening hours 8.00 to 6.00. The general admission is free but museum entry ticket is 20 pesos. This plaza show cases three cultural phases, the Aztec pyramids, the Spanish Templo de Santiago and also ...

ugly area
Just because of the history, but the area is ugly, you can find better things to do in Mexico City than to walk around, which is also dangerous!
