It is a stone Jizo statue along the Nikko Kaido, which is the nearest to Imaichi Station. The face is very cheerful and gives you peace of mind. You can also get a red stamp.

It is said to be Oiwake Jizo because it is at the fork that separates the Nikko Kaido and the Reiheishi Kaido. Large Jizos and small Jizos are lined up. It is called Jizo-sama with close friendliness, but it is originally called Jizo Bodhisattva and is believed to be a "children's guardian deity", and sweets that children often enjoy are offered. The rows of cedar trees on both highways are wonderful nearby. There is also a roadside station Nikko nearby, and you can enjoy local dishes such as Yuba and Toru Funamura Memorial Hall.
