rare sandy beach in this area
Since the 2011 tsunami, several beaches in this area were literally destroyed. This is one of the few sandy beaches in the area. Most other beachy are quite rocky. There is still construction going on...
The scenery is beautiful
I visited by Sanriku Railway. The view of the sea and the coastline is very beautiful. Looking at the scenery will forget your daily stress. The waves were high and some surfers were surfing.
