Great view, challenge the level of “hiking” involved.
Struggling to rate this to be honest. It took us 20 mins to get up, 15 mins to get down. From the other reviews this seemed like a more significant “hike” but we were disappointed. Views from the top...
Really nice hike; just the right amount of effort.
We really enjoyed the hike; just the right amount of exercise for a morning. The views from the top of Stony Man were fantastic - and we were rewarded further with the sight of two eagles soaring over...
Challenging but worth it!
Moderate to difficult 4 mile loop (if you do Little Stony Man to Stony Man Summit loop—we parked in Little Stony lot). Took us over 2.5 hours with some stops to rest on the way. Recommend hiking boots...
My Favorite trail
The trail is short and easy, the view at the end is really amazing. I hiked four trails in Shenandoah, this trail is my favorite.
Breath-taking Views
This is a popular trail with beautiful views at the end of the trail. There are higher peaks and vista's, but this one is easier to climb. We were able to see deer along the trail.
