    Romanini's frescoes

    There are not so many places where one can see Romanini's frescoes. This church is one of the most impressive examples. Plan your visit for afternoon and check opening hours (we were there about 5pm).

    Surprising frescos in this empty church

    We wandered in just before closing time on a weekday evening; no one was there. The paintings are striking, immediate, and in some ways surprisingly modern-looking.
