A Roman bridge is over a street but until the 19th century it was over the river Boate wich was diverted The bridge is completely covered with grace and vines and is closed by two iron gates
Hannibal's Bridge (Italian: Ponte Annbale is apparently one of the oldest structures, dating back to Roman imperial times, in the city of Rapallo. The bridge is closed and no longer in use.
That there was a river running under this bridge and it’s over 1000 years old. Seems odd to have this in the middle of a residential area without knowing the history.
