    Great local song

    Original Text

A monument is erected in a corner of Shiokaze Park. Shiretoko Travel is a Showa song that Tokiko Kato sang and became a big hit. I liked the way of singing to Park, who wrote and composed the songwriting and composed the song, "When the hamanasu blooms in the cape of Suiretoko."

    A monument of Shiokaze Park

    Original Text

I went to June 2019. It is a monument in Shiokaze Park. Shiokaze Park is a small park on a hill overlooking the Rausu fishing port, a little out of the center of Rausu town. There was a monument to Shiretoko Travel in the park. If it's sunny, you can see Kunigo Island from the park.

    Nothing.

It's not a place to come and stop by for a trip from afar. Let's spend time in other natural-related places. That's better.

    A monument in Shiokaze Park

    Original Text

Hisaya Morishige wrote and composed when he was staying to shoot "What lives at the end of the earth", and then Tokiko Kato sang and hit in the late Showa 40. When you listen to Shiretoko's travel song, the scenery of Shiretoko comes to mind.

    Hisaya Morishige's thoughts

    Original Text

A song Shiretoko Journey made in the sense of gratitude to the people of Rausu in shooting a movie. It is said that it was originally called Farewell Rausu. In that sense, I think it is natural that there is a monument here in Rausu. Even so, the actors and staff who came to the Shiretoko Peninsula for the movie location nearly 60 years ago are amazing.
