Nice shrine at the beginning of a beautiful hike
Only 15 minutes from the cable car, Joju shrine is the beginning of the rewarding hike to the top of mount Ishizuchi. The shrine can be quite crowded at times.

You can arrive at this shrine (elevation 1450 m) in about 25 minutes walk from the mountaintop Joju Station (elevation 1300 m) of the Ishigaki mountain ropeway. It takes about 20 minutes to climb the twisted road from the top of the Ishigaki Mountain Ropeway Station. I prayed for the safety of climbing Ishigaki.
It is a shrine located in a place like a small Monzen Town, about a 20-minute walk from the Ropeway Mountaintop Station. Although it is a little uphill to the shrine, it is an area where ordinary tourists can come without difficulty. (Except in winter) Since the mountain climbing area is ahead of the Shinto gate in this shrine, I visited to pray for safety.
