Fantastic envy

It is a crater lake in the center of Mt. Menjo and Mt. Otoko in Mt. Komagatake. When the fog rises, the fantastic scenery expands. The wooden path surrounding it is flat. It shows a different expression from the mountain trail. Take a restroom break and a snack at the evacuation hut to aim for the main peak.
It was at the end of climbing Mt. Otoko from the 8th station. Unfortunately the fog was so great that the scenery wasn't good, but I had a break & lunch. The area around the pond was a wooden path and I was able to go around. There is also an evacuation hut, so I think it will be a landmark of Mt. Komagatake in Akita. I want to go this time when it's sunny.
If you drive to the 8th station of Akitakoma and trek from the trailhead of the 8th station hut to wrap Mt. Meneo and Dake, a large pond will appear in front of you. This is Amida Pond. I climbed the steep slope of the gale field and went to Mt. Otoko, returned to Amida Pond again, climbed Mt. Otoko and returned to Amida Pond again. The Amida Pond Hut has wooden benches, so I think lunch is good here when the weather is nice. If the weather is bad, you can take a break in the hut. There is also a second floor.
From the 8th station hut, you will arrive in about an hour by wrapping Mt. Meneo and Dake. This pond is a pond surrounded by Mt. Meneo, Mt. Otoko, and Mt. Yoko. Depending on the season, you can see alpine plants such as Nikko Kisuge. The surrounding area is well maintained and you can go like a little hike. There is also an evacuation hut, so I think it's a good place to take a break.
The main peak of Mt. Komagatake in Akita is Mt. Otoko. Amida Pond is located between Mt. Otoko, a parasitic volcano. Start climbing from the 8th station, and when it gradually becomes flat, you will arrive at Amida Pond. There are wooden paths around, so you can take a pleasant walk. The scenery was good, and Mt. Menjo over Amida Pond was a superb view.
