Meiji Shrine @Shibuya Tokyo
Meiji Shrine is one of Tokyo's most impressive shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the spirits of the first emperor of modern Japan, Emperor Meiji, passed away in 1912, and his wife, Empress Shoken, passed away in 1914.
Meiji shrine designed by Chuta Ito, this huge place of 175 acres is s a popular place near the shopping district of Shibuya, a beautiful big garden with a lake and lushes garden, excellent eating places, a souvenir shop, and a stunning display of Saki Barrels.
Open daily and free of charge, except a small fee for visit Meiji Jingu Garden, and Meiji Jingu Museum.

Timeless beauty! Meiji Shrine's elegance shines through its simplicity. A cultural gem within Tokyo
Lovely and serene garden. I went in the late afternoon, hence the weather was great with little crowd. Though the closing time varies from day to day. Closed at 5.50pm on the day I went.
December's ginkgo and maple leaves match the blue sky and white clouds, very suitable for taking pictures, there is no cold place with the sun
