Annenskiye Fortifications are a group of walls and buildings in ruins located in the surroundings of Vyborg, a town in the North of Russian Federation, near the border with Finland. It is a very nice ...

If you look at the drawings of the Petropavlovsk Fortress of St. Petersburg (1703), they very much resemble these strengthened field reduties in the vicinity of Vyborg. The long and exhausting North War (1...) took place.
