Südstrand beach to appreciate the tides at work and relax
Südstrand is truly a unique experience, transforming with the moving tides. When the tide is low, it seems as you can cross the entirety of the waterway, which will become a “sea” in a span of 6 hours...
Not a family beach
This is not a beach for swimming, the sand is pure mud. As a family you can only sit on the grass. If you want a child friendly beach this is not the place.
Nice boulevard, bad accessibility for wheelchairs!
Very nice place, beautiful view, prices at the restaurants are ok. But the accessibility for wheelchairs is horrible even as the toilets! They should really do something about this!!!
Hard beauty
They were here in November, walked along the shore almost alone, but there were still other winter walkers along the sea. The North Sea is perfect and winter, although I was very willing to return to it summer ...
