The Binhai Library is a new urban future library designed and built by the Dutch MVRDV Architects and the Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institute. Located on the east side of the Binhai Cultural Center (Phase I), it is one of the most closely related public buildings in the Binhai Cultural Center project. The Binhai Library has a total construction area of 33,700 square meters, 5 floors above ground and 1 underground floor. The design volume is 1.35 million books and 1,500 reading seats.
