A Boston essential. Not only good for book lovers, but fans of art and history will love this refuge right in the heart of the city. Be respectful if you visit just for some photos, it is an active community resource hub and welcoming event space year round.

波士顿的图书馆是美国的第一座公众市立图书馆，很喜欢看这座古典又别具风格设计的图书馆。图书馆由建筑家CharlesFollen Mckim设计建造，图书馆使用了8年时间建造而成。位于BackBay 的Copley广场旁，站在图书馆门前，可以眺望人烟云集的后湾，图书馆免费开放给公众，不需要购买门票，也不需要提前预约。感觉波士顿也是一所学术氛围浓郁的城市，周末前来，图书馆内也坐着满满的人，虽然图书馆内还有不时穿梭的游客游览参观，但大家都把音量控制的很低，图书馆内还是非常安静的。正门两侧有两尊女神雕像，整个建筑的中心还有一座雕塑庭院，这边沿着喷泉有很多座椅，阳光打下来，坐在这里看书很温暖。

我们从位于南郊的麻省州立大学,乘坐美国最古老的城市地铁系统,很快就抵达了市中心科普利广场(Copley Sqare).如成千上万般镜面叠加在一起的汉考克大厦就在广场一侧,而一旁的三一教堂与波士顿公共图书馆才真正让我们眼前一亮,有了殖民时期的感觉.虽说也不过百余年历史,它们在此可算得上珍贵了.图书馆继承了美国公共设施的一贯特性,内饰豪华并复古雅典与罗马的装修,似要拼了命向世人掩盖自己缺乏文化内涵的尴尬.三一教堂更像直接从法国、西班牙等天主教国家搬过来的一样,仿佛沾满了中世纪的威严与神圣.

也是波士顿一大景点，位于画家卡普利广场西侧，三一大教堂隔壁，交通很方便。是美国最大的公共图书馆，里面很有艺术气息虽然是图书馆，因为里面大量的壁画和精美的雕刻都让人流连忘返。忽然觉得波士顿是个极其美丽又充满艺术气息的现代与经典完美结合的城市，我真是太喜欢了！
