Burgers’ Zoo 🇳🇱🦒 A zoo that feels like exploring multiple worlds in one place.

If you're traveling in the Netherlands and have some extra time, I highly recommend adding Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem to your itinerary. 🦁🌿

This zoo differs from typical zoos because it's designed with Ecodisplays, simulating large-scale ecosystems, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of each area firsthand, rather than just looking at animals in cages.

There are various zones: Bush (tropical rainforest) 🌴, Desert (desert), Ocean (underwater world), Safari (savanna), Rimba (Asian rainforest), and a large Mangrove area indoors (Burger’s Zoo).

My favorite part was the Bush zone; it felt like walking in a real forest with its humidity, sounds, and atmosphere. The Ocean zone also has a large underwater world where you can see marine animals 🐠🦈.

The zoo covers 45 hectares, so if you want to see everything, I recommend allocating several hours. Walking at a leisurely pace is much more enjoyable (Burger’s Zoo).

It's also a great place to bring children. Because it has a playground, restaurants, and rest areas along the way, it's perfect for a family trip!

🚍 Getting there: From Arnhem Central Station, you can take bus number 3 to Burgers’ Zoo. The bus stop is right in front of the zoo entrance (Burger’s Zoo).

✨ Hotel Molendal, a small Art Nouveau-style hotel brimming with classic charm and warmth, is located near the train station and Sonsbeek Park, just a few minutes' walk away. This makes for a peaceful yet convenient stay. 🧳💛

🏨 The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated in warm tones. The beds are incredibly soft, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The sheets and pillows are clean and fresh-smelling. 💗 Some rooms offer views of the garden and the old European buildings, creating a truly romantic atmosphere.

🛁 The bathroom has a powerful bathtub and shower, complete with amenities. The layout is neat and airy, creating a clean and airy feel.

🍞 Breakfast is homemade European-style, with croissants, cheese, ham, freshly baked bread, fruit, and fragrant coffee. ☕️✨ It gives the feeling of a warm European home.

🌳 The surrounding area is very quiet, perfect for morning or evening strolls. The atmosphere is filled with European-style houses and large trees, creating a feeling like you're staying in a cozy, small town.

🌙 At night, the hotel is beautifully lit up. The more you take photos from the front of the hotel, the more you'll get a luxurious, vintage feel.
