Photos of Xixinan Ancient Village

Xixinan Ancient Village is located in the west of Huizhou District, Huangshan City. It was built in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is an important part of the history of Huizhou merchants. The village retains a relatively original appearance. There are more than 100 old houses, green pavilions and ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, there are thousand-year-old ginkgo trees, hundred-year-old osmanthus trees, and Luohan trees, which are of great ornamental value. There is a wetland and a maple and poplar forest at the entrance of the ancient village in the south of Xixi. Sitting on the boat, surrounded by green trees, surrounded by streams and springs, looking at the surrounding Huizhou architecture and landscape galleries, gives people unlimited reverie.
